The Planted Parlour Difference
We want you to have success! So we give you the best chance by doing a variety of things that others don't.
- All our indoor plants are kept INDOORS: This minimizes stress in the form of bugs, temperature swings and wind, stress that doesn't always show up right away.
- Grown here. Our shop is similar to a home or office, so the plants are acclimated to angled light, indoor heating. Not straight from a greenhouse.
- Superior soil mix. We use a custom blend that holds moisture but dries out and tailored to what each plant wants.
- Propagated by us. A lot of our plants are made from our own collections and raised up. We know them well.
- They are living. We see our plants as living things not commodities, we treat them with respect and don't keep them in the cold, dark or toss them after they are less convenient.
- Keep it small. We always try to support California growers and experienced professionals rather than mega-corporations that control most nursery products today.

The American Society
for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) has determined that this plant will have no effect on your pet if touched or ingested.
Also, at The Planted Parlour we shy away from the use of potentially harmful industrial horticultural chemicals that are sometimes used at national
plant retail outlets, which the ASPCA does not rank.
